Azzedine Alaïa and Christian Dior, two masters of Haute Couture

Azzedine Alaïa Foundation, 18 rue de la Verrerie - 75004 Paris
From 15 December 2025 to 24 June 2026

Fascinating dialogue between dresses by Azzedine Alaïa and those by Christian Dior from the couturier's collection

The exhibition "Azzedine Alaïa and Christian Dior, two masters of Haute Couture" is part of an exceptional two-part program organized in collaboration with Galerie Dior. It features an intimate and enlightening conversation between the works of Alaïa and those of Christian Dior (and his successors) from the Tunisian couturier's personal and historic collection. Through some thirty carefully selected model duos, the exhibition reveals the aesthetic affinities that united them: a taste for the pressed waist, the sculpted shoulder and the search for the mysteries of the cut. The exhibition, which focuses on the creative process, testifies to Alaïa's boundless admiration for Dior since his brief visit to the Avenue Montaigne workshops in 1956. Don't miss the complementary exhibition at Galerie Dior!
Daily, 11am-7pm. The Foundation is closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25.
Exhibition included in admission ticket. Full price: €10. Reduced rate : 3€. Free under certain conditions
