A major program of sacred music at Église de la Madeleine
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Église de la Madeleine welcomes the Chico Community Choirs as part of their French tour. Directed by Susan Tevis, this vocal ensemble from California brings together young singers and adult choristers to perform a choral repertoire renowned for its richness and high artistic standards.
In the exceptional acoustics of the Paris church, the choir performs a program devoted to sacred music and the great works of the vocal repertoire. Compositions by Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, Kodály, Caccini, Delibes and Bernstein follow one another in a concert of emotion and spirituality. Backed by over twenty-five years' experience and numerous international tours, the Chico Community Choirs offer Parisian audiences a musical interlude carried by the power and beauty of their choral voices.
