Nights of Light at the Château de Vincennes

A new edition of the Nuits de lumière festival, which transforms the Château de Vincennes into a magical nighttime art trail featuring 14 light installations

From October 15 to November 8, 2026, the latest edition of the Nuits de lumière festival at the Château de Vincennes will transform this iconic heritage site into a monumental nighttime art experience. Designed as an immersive and magical stroll lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes, the route stretches from the drawbridge to the facades of the royal pavilions, passing through the keep’s courtyard. Under the artistic direction of Régis Clouzet and Jésus Baptista, 14 original light and digital installations interact with the medieval and classical architecture: interactive projections covering 750 m², kinetic sculptures, light poetry, and works that react in real time to visitors’ movements. The tour concludes at the façade of the King’s Pavilion with two exceptional creations: a historical video mapping revealing the castle’s secrets and a festive pop-art and musical mural.
