The famous love story between Manon Lescaut and Chevalier des Grieux, choreographed by Kenneth MacMillan
From 28 September to 30 October 2026, the Palais Garnier will present the ballet *L'Histoire de Manon*, based on the famous novels *L'Histoire du chevalier des Grieux* and *Manon Lescaut*, written by Abbé Prévost in the 18th century. Choreographed and directed by Kenneth MacMillan, with music by Jules Massenet and sets and costumes by Nicholas Georgiadis, the production tells the story of the immoral and all-consuming passion between a young woman and a knight, whose social backgrounds set them apart.
