Running from October 21, 2026, to February 14, 2027, the Palais de Tokyo’s fall season revolves around the concept of territory, explored in all its geographic, historical, political, and social diversity
As both a concrete and symbolic space closely connected to the people who inhabit it, territory is now at the heart of contemporary artistic discourse. For this fall-winter season, titled “Tous les feux, les fleurs,” the Palais de Tokyo is presenting a major group exhibition and six solo exhibitions by French and international artists.
🎯 Upcoming exhibitions
📌 You and Your Crew - Group exhibition
Featuring around thirty works, this exhibition explores artistic initiatives situated outside urban centres (the countryside, high mountains, island territories). It examines the notions of collectives, communities of life, work and struggle that shape these geographies
📌 I telman nwè ki é blé (It’s so black it turns blue) - Valérie John
The Martinican artist offers a sensory and aesthetic immersion into the metamorphoses of indigo blue, textiles and paper. From Martinique to West Africa, her work explores translocal memory and the construction of identity
📌 Today is OK - Ali Cherri
Co-produced by the Palais de Tokyo and centred on his film La Sentinelle (screened at Cannes), this project by the Franco-Lebanese artist blends cinema with a unique installation to examine the repercussions of war on individuals and the collective imagination
📌 Cœur sauvage - Sonia Gomes
Drawing on her Afro-Brazilian heritage, Sonia Gomes transforms used textiles into quasi-organic sculptures. A language of care, memory and resistance that enters into direct dialogue with the architecture of the Palais
📌 Photoromance - Paul Kodjo
The first major solo exhibition in France dedicated to the Ivorian photographer Paul Kodjo. A key witness to the ‘Ivorian miracle’ of the 1960s and 1970s, he explores the photoroman genre at the crossroads of fictional narrative and social commentary
📌 The Source of the Loire and Other Films - Rose Lowder
An immersion in Rose Lowder’s experimental 16mm cinema. Through the film La Source de la Loire and her “Bouquets” series, the filmmaker explores visual perception and biodiversity
📌 Not All Columns Have a Heart of Stone - Céleste Richard-Zimmermann
Winner of the 2026–2027 Prix des Amis du Palais de Tokyo, the artist presents a space featuring installations, sculptures and sound pieces centred around a broken column, questioning symbols of power and collapse
