On Sunday, September 27, 2026, step into the shoes of a winemaker in the heart of Argenteuil’s municipal vineyards. On the agenda: grape harvesting, tastings, an educational farm, and free activities

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 10am to 6pm, Argenteuil will celebrate its wine-growing heritage during its traditional Grape Harvest Festival. On the town’s hillsides, nearly 2,300 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines dot the landscape. During this festive, rustic day at the municipal vineyards (Rue de Mainville), the public is invited to discover every step of the process of turning grapes into wine. On the program for this 100% free event: participating in the grape harvest, crushing, and traditional pressing, as well as tasting freshly pressed grape juice and local wines; stilt walkers, marching bands, live music performances, and demonstrations of transhumance featuring sheep and sheepdogs; an educational farm, donkey rides, creative workshops, bread-making, woodcarving, a farmers’ market, and sales of local wine and honey.
Argenteuil Municipal Vineyards, Rue de Mainville, 95100 Argenteuil. Free shuttle buses run between the downtown train station and the vineyards, departing hourly from 10am to 4pm for the trip there, and returning from the vineyards from 2pm to 6.30pm
