10 rue Pierre Fontaine, between Place Blanche and Place de Clichy, is now home to the Fontaine Theatre. This was not always the case. Before the theatre was created in 1951, this address was home to a cemetery, a plumbing factory and even a cabaret frequented by the Germans during the Second World War. A typically Parisian theatre, it programmes major popular contemporary plays.
