The Square René Viviani is a lovely little public garden bordering the Seine, an ideal departure point for a walk in the Latin Quarter. There is a fine view of the nearby Notre-Dame Cathedral. The Square Viviani is especially famous as it is home to the oldest tree in Paris, a robinia planted in 1601!
