The Paris 2024 Games’s Olympic Village is spread over three municipalities of Seine-Saint-Denis (Saint-Denis, Saint-Ouen and L’Île-Saint-Denis), very near to the Stade de France and the Saint-Denis aquatics centre. Central Paris is only 7 kilometres from here. Nearly 25,000 athletes are expected to attend: 14,500 during the Olympic Games and 9,000 during the Paralympic Games. The nave of the Cité du Cinéma in the heart of the village will be home to the main restaurant where the athletes will eat. When the Games are over, the local people and governments will be left with a rich legacy: 3,000 homes, a student residence, a hotel, 6 hectares of gardens and parks, 120,000 m² of offices and services accommodating 6,000 employees and 3,200 m² of neighbourhood shops.
