The French Museum of Photography displays a vast collection of photographic equipment and images retracing the history of photography and its social purposes. You'll see camera obscuras, velocigraphs, magic lanterns, rare daguerreotypes, a developing tank, miniature cameras used by spies...in short, a real Ali Baba's cave where you can learn about the invention process or simply admire the beauty of the cameras and both old and modern photos.
