MUSEUM

Mémorial de la Shoah, Drancy

110-112 avenue Jean Jaurès - 93700 Drancy 93 - Seine - Saint-Denis
Complementing the Shoah Memorial in Paris, the Drancy Shoah Memorial is a place of mediation between the site of the former internment camp and the public, a place of history and transmission. It enables schoolchildren and the general public to learn more about the history of the Cité de la Muette, and in particular the central role played by the Drancy camp in the exclusion of Jews from France during the Second World War, and in the implementation of the "Final Solution" by the Nazis in France, with the complicity of the Vichy government.
