Mémorial de la Shoah, Drancy

110-112 avenue Jean Jaurès - 93700 Drancy 93 - Seine - Saint-Denis
Complementary to the Mémorial de la Shoah in Paris, the Mémorial de la Shoah in Drancy is a place of mediation between the site of the former internment camp and the public, a place of history and storytelling. It allows both students and the wider public to better understand the history of the 'cité de la Muette' and notably the key role of the camp at Drancy in the expulsion of Jews from France during the Second World War, and in the implementation of the Nazis' "Final Solution" in France, under the complicit Vichy Government.
