Created under the impetus of the artist of the same name, the Marian Goodman Gallery was opened in the Marais district of Paris in 1999, after a opening the first gallery in New York. It now joins the list of the most important galleries in Paris and boasts artists’ work represents artists such as Giuseppe Penone, Gerhard Richter, Christian Boltanski and Annette Messager. Goodman also opened another gallery in London in 2014.
