The philosopher's last home as it was at the time of his death in 1857. Auguste Comte, promoter of 'positive philosophy' and founder of 'positivism', developed one of the biggest systematic philosophies of the 19th century. The Maison d'Auguste Comte is made up of the museum plus a philosophical research centre.
