On October 17, 2026, Le Large - cultures contemporaines will open its doors on the upstream tip of the Île Seguin. Housed in a spectacular building designed by RCR Arquitectes (Pritzker Prize 2017), the new art center unveils its inaugural exhibition, "Moteur Imaginaire". Orchestrated by renowned international curator Cecilia Alemani, the exhibition explores the site's industrial history, questioning the complex links between man and machine. In partnership with the Fonds Renault pour l'Art et la Culture, it brings together historic masterpieces (Vasarely, Dubuffet, Tinguely, Doisneau) - some of which have been unseen for 40 years - with 17 previously unseen commissions from major contemporary figures such as Théo Mercier, Sara Sadik and Bertrand Lavier.
