THEATRE/CONCERT HALL

La Scala Paris

13 boulevard de Strasbourg - 75010 Paris Opéra - Grands Boulevards
Opened in September 2018, La Scala Paris is a private theater serving the public interest, built on the ruins of one of the most beautiful café-concerts of the Belle Époque and a splendid Art Deco movie theater.
It was born out of the vision of Mélanie and Frédéric Biessy, an independent producer, who sought to commit to a philanthropic project dedicated to the arts.
La Scala Paris was conceived through a constructive dialogue with today’s artists across all disciplines—theater, dance, music, contemporary circus, visual and digital arts—whose work is now featured in this new venue, entirely designed by set and stage designer Richard Peduzzi. Featuring two modular performance spaces, a bar, and a restaurant, it can accommodate up to 900 people in its public areas.

Prices are reasonable so that everyone can enjoy these moments of togetherness. Special emphasis is placed on the quality of the service and the professionalism of the staff, both front-of-house and in the kitchen. La Scala Paris Restaurant & Bar is committed to ethical cuisine, whether through its use of primarily organic ingredients or the kitchen’s energy efficiency. At the helm of this new destination on the Parisian culinary scene are Danièle and Georges SENGEL, parents of Mélanie BIESSY and founders and former owners of the famous ZIMMER–SENGEL restaurant in Strasbourg. They have dedicated their lives to gastronomy and the art of hospitality.
