La Scala Paris

13 boulevard de Strasbourg - 75010 Paris Opéra - Grands Boulevards
Opened in September 2018, La Scala Paris is a private theatre of public interest built on the ruins of one of the most beautiful concert cafés of La Belle Époque and a splendid Art Deco cinema.
It was created by Mélanie and Frédéric Biessy, an independent producer, who wanted to undertake a philanthropic project to support artistic creation.
La Scala Paris was invented in a constructive dialogue with current day artists from all disciplines - theatre, dance, music, new circus, visual and digital arts - now being programmed in this new venue entirely designed by the scenographer and designer Richard Peduzzi. Equipped with two modular rooms, a bar and a restaurant, it can accommodate up to 900 people in its public spaces.

On request, we offer guided tours of the theatre: 45 minutes behind the scenes of this historic venue dating back to 1873!

Pre-show or after-show snacks, at the bar adjoining the restaurant or in the hall, menus and à la carte dishes offer a constantly updated cuisine. Here, everything is possible: a dish that's a real treat in winter, a classic gastronomical dish revisited for a modern taste or a summer salad with new flavours. The prices are low so that everyone can share these moments of conviviality. Particular emphasis is placed on the quality of the welcome and the professionalism of the staff, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. The Restaurant & Bar La Scala Paris, whether in terms of products, mainly organic, or the environmental impact of the kitchens, is committed to ethical cooking. At the head of this new address on the Parisian culinary scene, Danièle and Georges SENGEL, parents of Mélanie BIESSY, founders and former proprietors of the restaurant ZIMMER–SENGEL in Strasbourg. They have dedicated their lives to gastronomy and the art of entertaining. Their aim: to give a soul to the Restaurant & Bar La Scala Paris, a new lively venue in the 10th arrondissement.
