Porte d'Auteuil - Porte de Saint-Cloud
The Petite Ceinture is a former double-track railway line that used to run around Paris within the boulevards des Maréchaux. Its rails are today invaded by a wild flore with an unusual biodiversity, counting more than two hundred plant species and more than seventy animal species. In 2007, a first section was opened to walkers in the 16th arrondissement, between Porte d'Auteuil and Muette station. Since then, new sections have been regularly opened to the public. Often unknown to Parisians themselves, this green path, a trace of a rural capital, should be taken without delay! Former stations on the Petite Ceinture have now become bars, restaurants and cultural venues (the Poinçon in the 14th arrondissement, the Brasserie Auteuil in the 16th arrondissement, the Hasard Ludique in the 18th arrondissement...).
