La Géode

Located in the heart of Parc de la Villette, next to the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, the Géode—designed in 1985 by architect Adrien Fainsilber—is, in many ways, an exceptional movie theater: it is a gigantic steel sphere 36 meters in diameter, whose outer shell reflects the Cité, the sky, and the Parc de la Villette. This legendary theater is equipped with a 1,000 m² hemispheric screen and uses IMAX technology to create a captivating and fully immersive visual experience for the audience.
