La Gazette de Lutèce is an independent Parisian newspaper that has been tracking the mysteries of the capital since its earliest days. Behind Haussmann facades, in forgotten cul-de-sacs and beneath cobblestones steeped in history, Paris conceals shadowy areas that few dare to explore. This is precisely where the Gazette sends its investigators.
L'Ombre du Temple is the adventure proposed by the Gazette de Lutèce: an immersive game 100% outdoors, in the historic alleyways of the 3rd arrondissement. A secret society is resurfacing in the Temple district. Endoctrinations, extortion, missing journalists... All the clues point to a group of Neo-Templiers who claim to be heirs to the famous knight-monks of the Middle Ages. The Gazette has traced their activities. It needs seasoned investigators to go further. That's where you come in.
No closed rooms, no screens: Paris becomes your setting, alive, unpredictable, disturbingly realistic. Over the course of 1h30 and about 2km, you'll wander through the neighborhood's narrow streets in search of clues. As actors cross your path, the line between fiction and reality becomes blurred, and the investigation takes a turn that's as unexpected as it is dangerous.
The experience is suitable for groups of 2 to 5 players, aged 8 and over and accompanied by an adult, and is equally suited to escape game regulars and newcomers. Ideal for friends, family or team building. The starting point is Square du Temple, accessible by metro line 3 (Temple station) or lines 5, 8, 9 and 11 (République station).
