La Dame de Canton

Housed in a genuine Chinese junk boat moored along the Seine, La Dame de Canton is a lively and popular Paris entertainment venue, hosting concerts, children’s shows, cultural events and private seminars, not to mention a restaurant and bar. It is mentioned in the ‘Paris pas cher’ guide, which lists affordable places in Paris. La Dame de Canton is moored at the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, at the foot of the Simone de Beauvoir pedestrian bridge leading from the Bibliothèque to Bercy Park. It is only a short walk from the Quai de la Gare and Bibliothèque metro stations.

Opening times and prices

Tickets are sold on the boat on the night of the concert from 8pm. Tickets for certain concerts are available in advance.

The Dame de Canton's restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm to midnight. To book call +33 (0) 1 53 61 08 49 or email [email protected]. The bar is open Tuesday to Thursday, 7pm-2am or 7pm to 2am at the weekend. The 300m² terrace is open from May to September serving food and drinks. Booking not necessary except to hire out the venue.
