The former Château-Landon fire station located at 12 rue Philippe-de-Girard opened its doors in June 2021, after two years of work, to become La Caserne, an incubator for young designers committed to eco-responsible and ethical French fashion. This new 4,000 square metre space is home to around forty brands that are supported for three years as they make an ecological transition in their production model. Open to all, the Caserne is a meeting place that raises public awareness about sustainable fashion. It offers a varied programme of workshops, exhibitions, and events, and has a green rooftop, a club and a vegetarian restaurant featuring local and seasonal products.
