The Ogresses is first and foremost an idea created by Mutata whilst he was playing in his own puppet theatre perched on the Kabylie mountains. Once he arrived in Paris, several people were brought together with him to form a new association focusing on spoken word, music, and puppetry. For 12 years, the Ogresse has been an alternative association which allows musicians, story tellers, puppet artists, actors, directors, authors, clowns, etc. to offer their shows in a friendly place full of good humour.
