Another remarkable architectural project in the Paris Rive Gauche district is the Fulton building, designed by architects Bernard Bühler. Built in 2017, it is located on quai d'Austerlitz, on the corner of rue Fulton and rue Bellièvre, facing the river Seine. It is comprised of 87 social housing units with staggered balconies overlooking the river, two shops on the ground floor level and a garden. The colours of the balconies oscillate from yellow to green and to blue, depending on the light and the viewer’s position.
