At numbers 61 and 63 Rue Réaumur is a surprising and impressive facade in the Art Nouveau and Neo-Gothic styles. Evoking a cathedral facade, it was built at the end of the 19th century, as part of a competition organized by the City of Paris for the construction of the Rue Réaumur. It was designed by the architects Edouard Singery and Philippe Jouannin and sculptor F.-A. Jacquier. The facade is decorated on the theme of time, with a large central clock and representations of the seasons, the months of the year and the signs of the zodiac.
