Forum des images

Westfield-Forum des Halles - 75001 Paris Châtelet - Les Halles
The Forum des images, founded in 1988 under the name Vidéothèque de Paris, is a cultural institution of the City of Paris dedicated to cinema and all forms of image (virtual reality, video games, comics...). It is located in the Forum des Halles, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It has the status of an association under the law of 1901, and is currently run by Claude Farge.
A place for cinephilia, but also for creation, distribution, innovation and image education, the Forum des images organizes or hosts numerous thematic cycles, festivals, meetings and debates throughout the year for audiences of all ages.
Its archives include almost 7,700 films with Paris as subject or setting, as well as several hundred other documents from various rare and difficult-to-access collections.
In September 2018, the Forum des images created TUMO Paris, its free digital creation school for teenagers aged 12 to 18.
