Claude Monet's property at Giverny became the Claude Monet Foundation in 1980. House with its pink crushed brick façade where the leader of the Impressionist School lived from 1883 to 1926. Precious collection of Japanese etchings. The gardens have been replanted as they once were. The huge Nymphéas studio has also been restored.
Not to be missed : the Water Garden with its famous Japanese Bridge.
