CHURCH AND OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP

Église Saint-Philippe du Roule

154 rue du faubourg Saint-Honoré - 75008 Paris Champs-Élysées
Built on the site of a destroyed chapel in 1739, the Eglise Saint-Philippe-du-Roule came from the wishes of Louis XV who wanted to give back a sanctuary to the district.
Located on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, close to Place de la Madeleine and Place de Vendôme, its style, with antique columns, looks like that of Roman temples.
The first level stained-glass windows, in blue tones, were created by Émile Hirsch.
