THEATRE/CONCERT HALL

Comédie-Française - Studio-Théâtre

99 rue de Rivoli - Galerie du Carrousel du Louvre - 75001 Paris Louvre
The Comédie-Française's third theatre, inaugurated in 1996 by the director Jean-Pierre Miquel, is located in the Carrousel du Louvre. Its name pays tribute to the first Moscow Art Theatre Studio, directed by the famous actor and director Constantin Stanislavski. In the heart of the Galerie du Carrousel, which connects the Rue de Rivoli to the Louvre Museum, this intimate theatre has a 50 m² stage and can accommodate up to 136 spectators. The Comédie-Française troupe performs here all year round, offering a varied repertoire of classical and contemporary plays, with performances lasting about an hour at 6.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
