MONUMENT

Collège des Bernardins

20 rue de Poissy - 75005 Paris Latin Quarter
An exceptional 13th-century Cistercian building, brought back to life at the initiative of the Catholic church of Paris. Today, the Collège is a place of sharing and openness dedicated to people of the 21st century and their future. It houses the cathedral school, which offers many public courses to lay people, as well as a research centre, and offers a rich and attractive programme of events: exhibitions of contemporary art, concerts, film screenings, debates, talks and symposiums. In addition to being a place for training, research and culture, it is a unique monument, a last vestige of the medieval University of Paris, which played a significant role in the spread and influence of the Cistercian order. A bookshop, a cafe-restaurant and a garden contribute to making the Collège des Bernardins a lively and enjoyable place for everyone. For families, the Collège des Bernardins offers fun concerts that enable children to discover the history of the arts and a quality musical repertory.
