Château de Monte-Cristo - Demeure et Parc d'Alexandre Dumas

Le château de Monte-Cristo is a charming, demure castle with enitrely sculpted façades. History, nature and and the writers soul are present here: floral motifs, angels, musical instruments and weapons alongside strange animals. Above each window on the ground floor, Alexandre Dumas placed a dramatic writer's portrait from every era. At the place of honour, above the entrance door, Alexandre Dumas himself welcomes you as guests. On the pediment, the arms of his ancestors are spread out with the motto " I love who loves me". Finally, the pinnacles at the top of the two towers are decorated with the intertwined initals of the writer himself.

-10 years (excluding guided tours).

2nd Sunday of the month (April to November): full price €8; concessions €2. Last Sunday of the month (April to November): full price €9; concessions €2.

Park and Château: full price €7; concessions €5. Park only: €3.

20 people minimum. 4€ to 6€/person.

1st April - 31st October: Tuesday-Friday 10am-12:30pm and 2pm-6pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm
2nd November -31st March: Sunday 2pm-5pm
