Centre Bouddhique Kagyu-Dzong - Grande Pagode de Vincennes

40 bis route de Ceinture du lac Daumesnil - 75012 Paris Bois de Vincennes
The Grande Pagode de Vincennes is the largest Buddhist place of worship in the capital. It houses the largest statue of Buddha in Europe, covered in gold and over 9m high including the pedestal. The total area is 8,000 m² and is spread across two beautiful buildings, vestiges of the 1931 Paris Colonial Exhibition. The site is open to the public during major Buddhist festivals. An original site that's full of spirituality to be discovered in the rural setting of the Bois de Vincennes, a stone's throw from Lac Daumesnil.
