Les Catacombes de Paris

Nestled in the heart of a veritable labyrinth of underground galleries, the Catacombs offer a unique journey twenty meters below ground. The immense ossuary, which houses the remains of several million Parisians, offers visitors a timeless walk through a setting that is both macabre and romantic, inviting reflection. Renovated in late 2023, richly illustrated interpretive panels punctuate the 1.5-kilometer route, complementing an audio guide that accompanies visitors at every stage of their journey.
