The Bétonsalon Association is located in the Paris-Diderot University. Set on the ground floor of the Halles aux Farines at the heart of the ZAC Paris Rive Gauche in the 13th arrondissement, this contemporary art and research centre is a place of reflection, observation and exchange. Artists, scientists, architects, sociologists and other contributors join together to develop and produce a varied artistic programme – workshops, conferences, exhibitions, visits to the surrounding quarter of Paris, performances, round table conferences… - in association with creations made by students, teachers, residents, businesses…
