Athénée théâtre Louis-Jouvet

Renowned for its beauty and the exceptional quality of its acoustics, the Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet is a Parisian Italian-style theatre that offers a varied programme of plays and music, from the great plays of the theatrical repertoire to opera and jazz. Inaugurated in 1896 and classified as a historical monument, it has been a public service institution since 1982.

Opening times and prices

There is no guided tour of the theatre, except on special request of a group by email to [email protected], depending on the availability of the team.

Shows in the Grande Salle play at 8pm Monday to Saturday and at 4pm on Sundays. Shows in the Salle Christian-Bérard run from Monday to Saturday at 8.30pm and 4.30pm on Sundays.

The Athénée bar opens one hour before each performance, remains open during the interval and closes one hour after the performance. Access is conditional on the purchase of a ticket.

Disability

Theatre can be accessed by a lift. Toilets suitable for the disabled.
The door and the lift are narrow.
The main auditorium is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Special seats are reserved for disabled people (inform the theatre if you require one of these seats when booking)
