Abbaye royale du Val-de-Grâce et musée du Service de santé des armées

Abbaye : 277 rue Saint-Jacques - Musée : 1 place Laveran - 75005 Paris Quartier Latin
The church and the monastery of the Val-de-Grâce was built in the middle of the XVIIth century by Queen Anne of Austria to thank God for Louis XIV's birth. Since the Revolution, the monastery has been transformed into a military hospital. Inside the church: many sculptures, paintings by Philippe de Champaigne. The museum is located in the historical building of the Val de Grâce in Paris. It shows the history of a French military medical service through the illustration of its main missions of art, the medical evacuation.
