Cité de l’architecture & du patrimoine

Spread across the 23,000 m² area of the Paris wing of the Palais de Chaillot, the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine opened in 2007 as the reference institution in architecture, urban planning and landscape. Its mission is to promote these fields to the public by showing temporary and permanent exhibitions (the museum’s collections cover 1,000 years of French architectural history) as well as to carry out an in-depth reflection with specialists and professionals. All this makes the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine a thriving cultural place in the heart of Paris.
The Cité has a great diversity of spaces onsite: galleries of permanent and temporary exhibitions, reception halls, meeting rooms and a library. These premises are available to host a huge variety of events: cocktail parties, dinners, conferences, fashion shows … On the last floor, the terrace of the Salon d'About is an exceptional location to enjoy one of the most beautiful views over Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
The Parvis des Droits de l’homme and its terraces are also managed by the Cité de l’aAchitecture, and can also host photo shoots and filming.
