In 2023, Paris has almost returned to its pre-covid tourist levels. More than 37 million tourists visited Greater Paris last year, representing almost 24 million hotel arrivals (+8.4% compared to 2022). The capital continues to inspire thanks to its constantly renewed hotel offer (2,184 hotels and 133,000 rooms in Greater Paris), its 143 museums and 2,230 historical monuments, as well as the many cultural and sporting events that take place there.

Business tourism has not been left out either, with 648 congresses organised, welcoming 823,000 delegates and generating a total of €1.59 billion in economic spin-offs. As for trade fairs, the number of visitors rose sharply compared to 2022, with +16% for professional trade shows and +13% for trade shows for the general public.
