As the world's convention capital, Paris hosts more than 1,000 events every year.
The attractiveness and dynamism of Paris put the capital in 1st position in the ICCA ranking of international convention destinations in 2019, with a total of 1,084 conventions.
At the same time, the renovation and opening of new convention facilities is enabling us to regularly absorb additional conventions. Almost half of these events attract an international audience, meeting in spring and autumn. Scientific venues are attracting more, with a total of 260 listed by the Convention Bureau as having hosted conventions in 2022.
