Built originally as a holiday destination and reception venue by Baron James de Rothschild in the 19th century, the place was subsequently taken over the Jesuits and transformed into a cultural and educational centre. The Campus Serge Kampf Les Fontaines has kept its primary vocation through the ages and has many advantages that make it an ideal place to hold a seminar. A haven of peace blending history with the magic of the estate, it is easily accessible by train from Gare du Nord train station in just 25 minutes, or in 35 minutes by car from Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport.
With more than 2,500 events organized, the creative team at the Campus has developed the expertise to provide a tailor-made response to each request, drawing on cutting-edge facilities and the many rooms available. The 450-seat Auditorium, a key feature of the Campus**,** is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, audiovisual technology, and a huge 22-metre stage. The 45 meeting rooms have a surface area of 22 to 130 m² and can host from 5 to 130 people. Divided across 3 ground floor Atriums, they are modular and available for private hire. The rooms are bathed in natural light and afford a view of the park and its trees; they benefit from the latest technology and the latest generation screens and are connected to the Wi-Fi network. 3 modular amphitheatres (total surface area of 79m²) for 60 people are also available. On the second floor of the chateau, the VIP corner offers 6 private rooms (total surface area 260 m²).
These workspaces are geared to meetings of small groups and provide quiet and confidentiality. Finally, this bucolic venue is an opportunity to organize your meeting in a natural setting on the terrace for an outdoor meeting or at the Normandy Farm, whose plenary room can accommodate up to 30 people.
7 contemporary villas in the park have 300 rooms decorated in a mix of design and elegance. The 272 classic rooms (17m²), 23 ‘superior’ rooms (18m²) with private terrace and breathtaking view of the Campus park and 5 spacious suites (34m²), offer all essential facilities for a well-designed and pleasant stay.
With cocktail evenings, buffets or gastronomic dinners, the Campus does justice to the art of eating well. The Café du Forum, an obvious meeting spot, can host some sixty guests and lends itself perfectly to a quick lunch or an impromptu meeting. Dinners can be organized for 500 guests over two floors within the grounds of the chateau. For a more intimate meal, two private lounges with a capacity to host 12 diners are available.
After a work session, participants can take advantage of the many onsite leisure facilities to relax: a fitness centre with a weight room and 20-metre indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a football pitch. The 52-hectare park has been laid out with walking routes and a fitness trail so that everyone can take a break in a natural setting.
Today, sustainable development is on everyone’s mind, and sustainable development is at the heart of the project of the Campus. Energy consumption (100% renewable) is controlled. The Campus uses geothermal energy to heat and cool the rooms. The catering centre limits its ecological impact by favouring local and seasonal products. Water consumption is reduced with the use of rainwater reserves for watering green areas. The park's biodiversity is protected through the use of natural fertilisers.
Finally, the Campus contributes to a reforestation programme in the Amazon and the Hauts-de-France region. The carbon footprint of the stay of participants is therefore partly offset by their involvement in this programme. Proof of the Campus Serge Kampf’s commitment to sustainable development is reflected in the number of labels and certification standards it holds: Ecolabel since 2008, Gold status in the IACC Green Star Certification programme, ISO 14001 standard since 2017 and ISO 20121 standard since 2020!
