Paris je t'aime has created and developed a simple, free web application, available in French and English, to help visitors discover the capital, giving them access to a wide range of services so they can explore Paris in a whole new way.
Designed primarily for mobile devices, with the aim of optimizing the user experience, this tool offers multiple, continually enriched content and many different functions.
It enables you to find your location and use an interactive map to view points of interest near to where you are (museums, monuments, theatres, shops, restaurants, etc.). Some fifty filters can be activated to match your needs (museums, restaurants, toilets, shopping, nightlife, etc.), so you can narrow down your search and view a map that's just right for you.
This useful travel companion provides you with a range of essential practical information to help you plan your stay (mobility, emergency numbers, weather, Wi-Fi...), a calendar listing the major events taking place in Paris as well as inspiring and original content linked to the latest cultural and leisure events in Paris. The web app also gives you the opportunity to book a ticket directly for a museum, monument or leisure activity.
Interactive maps provide themed itineraries and walking circuits in Parisian districts, so you can explore a Paris that's a little off the beaten track.
During the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, the tool will help you find out where the festivities are taking place, where the competition venues are, how to get around Paris during this period and the events of the Cultural Olympiad.
The web app MyParisjetaime also has a version adapted for visitors with disabilities, available in French and English. This interface enables visitors to find out where they are and find pre-filtered information (on accommodation, cultural venues, restaurants, etc.) that meets the specific needs of people with motor, hearing, visual or mental disabilities. The tool offers practical, appropriate content and a calendar of accessible events and outings.
The information available on MyParisjetaime handicap is based on audits carried out by Paris je t'aime and data from the Tourisme & Handicap government mark for motor, visual, auditive and mental disabilities.
