Paris has numerous designers of fashion, jewellery and luxury goods. Every year, trade fairs and catwalk shows reveal and sustain young talented designers. Experienced designers have their own boutiques, like Alexis Mabille, Alexandre Vauthier, and Bouchra Jarrar. New names that are being talked about: Maxime Simöens, Jacquemus, Valentine Gauthier, Eymele Burgaud, and Baptiste Viry.
Several boutiques present diverse creations like Hazar & Co with its ethnic-inspired jewellery and textiles or Robert M. Smith, in Belleville district on rue de Sambre et Meuse, which offers daring artisanal products. Men can find made-to-measure shirts and suits at Faubourg Saint Sulpice or even underwear at Dagobear.
For fashionable and hand-made eyewear, there is Jimmy Fairly’s first boutique in the Marais.
