The grand finale of the fireworks display signals that it is time to head off to the traditional firefighters’ balls, an unmissable highlight of the 14 July National Day celebrations that Parisians look forward to with great anticipation.

Several fire stations open their doors in different neighbourhoods across the capital to offer the public this popular event with its warm and friendly atmosphere.

Admission to the fire brigade balls may be charged or free, with a traditional ‘tonneau’ (collection box) made available to the public to collect donations, which are used to improve staff working conditions. The organisers reserve the right to restrict access to the balls for safety reasons.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of Greater Paris fire stations hosting a ball on the evenings of 13 and 14 July 2026, from 9 pm to 4 am.
