The Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre (French Federation of Hiking) is a non-profit organization created for the public. Its principal missions include promoting hiking in all its forms, marking out and maintaining the paths for local hikes. Various marked routes now make it possible to hike in the capital and discover the many aspects of Paris on foot. These paths are detailed in several guidebooks published by the federation.
