However, it is transformed during the holidays; from June to September, and welcomes tourists coming to visit the captial for a minimum one-week stay. The maison des mines is ideally situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, which is the perfect departure point for exploring Paris and its cultural wealth. The maison offers 200 rooms and several facilities. The reservations are made at the start of the year, being a practical and economical way to stay in Paris during the summer season. Tariffs vary from €35 (double room) to €45 (individual room). An extra payment of €5 is needed for a bedroom with a shower.
