Located in the Marais district, the romantic Hôtel du Petit Moulin was once home to the oldest bakery in Paris and the classic facade of this historical monument has been conserved as the entrance to the hotel. The owners left Christian Lacroix in charge of decorating the hotel. The exceptional designer created spaces that combine different styles and eras: pop, rustic, retro and contemporary designs in different fabrics, wallpapers and motifs that create a variety of settings. The hotel has 17 designer rooms with unique rococo, rustic, couture and baroque decors. The designer used the size of this old Parisian building to create a unique and poetic setting with Jouy paintings of buildings from the Middle Ages, fashionable and trendy furnishings from the 70s, golden tones and Venetian mirrors, florescent green, concrete, and 'scrap-book' collages.
