The hotel B&B Paris Porte des Lilas has a surface area of 6900m². In particular, it incorporates a solar carpet on the roof coupled with heat pumps, which enables it to reduce its energy impact. It is also the original architecture of the building, with its shimmering facades with pink-lilac and green reflections depending on the angle which already catches the eye of Parisians and motorists passing by on the ring road.
The building was constructed by Dominique Perrault, a French architect and urban planner, one of whose major French achievements is the François-Mitterrand Library on le site de Tolbiac in Paris. For this B&B hotel he succeeded in perfectly integrating this emblematic establishment into the Lilas district.
