The very essence of Quai de la Photo, an art centre dedicated to contemporary photography, is cultural and artistic. The aim of the centre is to showcase innovative and original photography. Free, open-access exhibitions Quai de la Photo offers free, open-access exhibitions, bringing together some of the great names in photography as well as emerging artists from France and abroad. The exhibitions take place in all areas of the floating building, covering a total surface area of over 1,000 m²: the main deck, the gallery devoted entirely to the works, and the terrace on the banks in fine weather.
