Musée Carnavalet - Histoire de Paris

23 rue Madame de Sévigné - 75003 Paris Le Marais
The oldest municipal museum in France, the Musée Carnavalet presents the history of Paris in a unique architectural setting. The "novel of Paris" unfolds in some 100 rooms. Visitors can follow the evolution of Parisian interiors, thanks to the many reconstructed settings from the 16th to the 20th century. They enter the intimate world of illustrious Parisians such as the Marquise de Sévigné, Voltaire and Proust.
With its refined interiors and formal gardens, the Musée Carnavalet is the ideal venue for your events (gala evenings, cocktails, dinners, seminars, etc.). Your guests will be enchanted by this place steeped in history.
