La Géode

La Géode is located in Parc de la Villette in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, across from the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie. La Géode offers a cinematic experience unique to Paris, with a theater designed entirely to immerse the audience in the heart of the film. La Géode’s sole theater is equipped with the first 4K IMAX Laser dome projector installed in France, which delivers sharper images, deeper contrast, and the widest available color gamut. Precision IMAX 6.0 sound completes the experience, ensuring sound reproduction of remarkable clarity and depth, evenly distributed throughout the space. The spectacular hemispheric screen combines two projection formats: hemispheric dome projection for documentaries and IMAX projection for feature films.
