In line with the Accor group, the Sofitel Paris le Faubourg is engaged in positive hospitality and is committed to reducing the impact of our activity. The energy-saving charter is applied, in particular by maintaining temperatures at 19°C in winter, using low-energy light bulbs, turning off the lights in the front of the hotel after 11pm, and using a system to reduce water consumption in the bathrooms, etc.
The Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has eliminated all single-use plastic items. The water at Le Faubourg, microfiltered on site, offers a sustainable alternative to bottled water. The restaurant offers responsible cooking and is committed to reducing food waste. To limit water consumption, sheets for stays of more than one night are changed at the request of the client. Cleaning products are eco-certified.
Consumables are sorted and given to approved service providers for specific treatment. Our cooking oils are recycled into biofuels, detergents, and soaps. Through donations, collections, solidarity sales, etc., the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg works with numerous associations (Restos du Cœur, Emmaüs, Petit Prince, Cravate Solidaire…).
