With its 38 floors, culminating 160m above the rehabilitated Batignolles district, the building designed by Renzo PIANO, was awarded the Equerre d'argent in 2017, one of France's top architectural prizes, for being a model of environmental solutions.
Today, the site is the largest judicial center in Europe: the Judicial Court, the Police Court, the Social Security Court (TASS) and its 20 District Courts have all been brought together in a single entity, the Parquet National Financier.
This is where 2,000 people now work: magistrates, court clerks, lawyers and civil servants, along with the 6,000 individuals or defendants summoned to appear before the court every day. Architecture, modernity, furniture, the history of the justice system - this is a comprehensive tour that will give you an insight into the fascinating and complex organization of our courts.
At the end of our tour, we'll join the 90 courtrooms, where everyone will have the opportunity to illustrate the judiciary by attending live trials, whether civil or criminal ... Immediate appearances, misdemeanors, clever delinquency, National Prosecutor's Office, Anti-Terrorist, ...
